Sonia ter Kuile is a 4th year Arts and Science student at McMaster University, doing a minor in Peace Studies and currently working on a thesis on the topic of development work in settings of violent conflict.  Sonia recently spent three months in Ghana, West Africa researching the role of women in violent ethnic/community conflict there.  A member of the Peace and Conflict Studies Society executive and also working with the student Peace-through-Health group at McMaster.
