Centre for Development Education and Communication (India) is a non-government and non-profitable organisation which is registered under the India, Tamilnadu societies Registration Act XXVII Registered number 13/921. It has been registered under office of Director of Income Tax (Exemptions) - 12 A (a) of the Income Tax Act 1961 - No : 290 / 91 - 92.  CDEC India studies, researches and do the activities on the various issues  in the field of Development Education and Communication. It has focussed to inculcate the social consciousness, develop democratic values and highlight the issues related to human rights through its various activities.  CDEC India has become a platform where Human rights are brought to the attention of people and the authorities. It is always working defense and promotions of Human Rights. All of its programmes  and activities are mainly focussing the development of recourses and expertise and eliminate the problems and issues against Human Rights.  CDEC India spreads its wings for the protection of Human Rights in the fields of Civil, Cultural, Political and social rights. It works against "grave violations"  and puts in efforts in bringing the "Global Rights Environment".  Inspired by the United Nations activities in the field of "Rights for People", CDEC India mainly concentrates the violence against children, Women, and the aged persons in order to lead a meaningful life. Hence its activities are namely revolved in bringing the non-violent social change and peace building by the way of eliminating violence against children, women and the aged persons. It communicates the importance of International protection of Human Rights.
